Cassara Wong

NIAD artist since 2022
Cassara Wong

It's relaxing to be an artist.

Cassara Wong (b. 1988) is an artist based in the Bay Area. Since joining NIAD Art Center in 2022, she has broadened her art practice to include painting, ceramics, printmaking, and fiber arts. Her illustrative paintings and works on paper feature cute animals, floral designs, and familiar pop culture characters. In clay, Wong sets the stage for these creatures: her miniature ceramic objects and fully-furnished dioramas have moveable parts which invite playful interactions.

Cassara Wong’s work has been showcased in group exhibitions at Sonoma State University, Richmond Art Center, the NIAD Annex Gallery, and the Oakland Museum of California.
