About the Collection

When thinking about this collection, I wanted to create a diverse selection of pieces with various functions, as well as pieces that would illuminate the walls of one’s home.

Each piece is under $100, aiming for budget-friendly gifts that carry lively stories within them.

About the Organizer

Vivian Torres is a Southern California-raised, Bay Area-based visual artist and researcher. She has a BFA from CSU Long Beach and is currently obtaining her MA in Museum Studies at USF. Vivian is currently working as an Exhibitions Assistant at NIAD, and prior to this, she has worked and volunteered in museum spaces and art centers across the Bay Area including SFMOMA, OMCA, and the Richmond Art Center. Her academic research is centered on forging visibility for historically underrepresented artists, with a current focus on Chicana artists, contemporary fiber art, and female artists based in Mexico.
