The holiday season provides the opportunity to reflect and give thanks for many forms of kinship–our ancestors, our relatives, our chosen families, our communities.
Inspired by the collectively-written “Abundance Poem,” NIAD’s exhibition More Than Enough celebrates all the ways that abundance defines the studio culture at NIAD: abundant joy, generosity, care, creativity, community.
Every artist currently practicing at NIAD - from 40-year veterans to brand new recruits - and even a few beloved alumni are represented in this super-sized extension of our Annex Holiday Marketplace.
Our revamped Backroom Gallery is festooned with Jeremy Burleson's "lamps" and a sprawling installation of Shawn Sanders's Exercises in Abstraction.
Not only does NIAD artwork make a great gift for a loved one (or yourself!), but when you own a piece, you connect with the unique story of an artist with disabilities. Your support honors an original voice in contemporary art, and provides a local artist with income from every sale (artists earn a 50% commission from the sale of their work).
We invite you to visit our galleries to browse this bounty of treasures that will brighten up any space. We’ll be bringing out new works for each event!
Can’t make it in person? Our online store is always open.
