Jarelle Peters

Jarelle Peters (b. 1992) is a Bay Area artist who joined NIAD Art Center in 2024. 

Peters uses handwritten text to create patterns, prose, and poetry. Often humorous and nostalgic, many of his works reference musicians, films, and other pop culture themes from the ‘90s through to today. 

Jarelle Peters’ drawings were featured in the exhibition, Poetry Is Everywhere (2025), organized by NIAD’s Artist Advisory Committee for the Main Gallery at NIAD.
