Sandra Ono (lives and works in Berkeley, CA) received her MFA from Mills College, following undergraduate studies at UC Davis and Imperial College, London. She has completed residencies at lower cavity, Holyoke, MA; University of Texas at Dallas, Dallas, TX; Southern Exposure, San Francisco, CA; Headlands Center for the Arts, Sausalito, CA; Winslow House, Vallejo, CA; Mascot Studio, in Berkeley/LA, CA; Minnesota Street Project as a recipient of the TOSA Studio Award, Vermont Studio Center as a recipient of the Joan Mitchell Foundation Fellowship Award, and Kala Art Institute as a recipient of the Kala Fellowship Award.
