NIAD's Exhibitions Team has been loading up the Annex Storefront with seasonal items and unique gifts: quilts, coloring posters and books, baskets, monographs, wall hangings, ornaments, hats and scarves, ceramic animals and more.

Join the NIAD community to celebrate the exhibition “NIAD Ink: 35 Year of Prints,” an ambitious survey of print-based work by NIAD artists compiled by Andres Cisneros-Galindo, an artist, educator, activist, and facilitator who has worked with NIAD artists for almost 40 years. In NIAD Art Center’s galleries and studios, we’ll have an exhibition reception, cheerful winter food + drinks, an album release and music performance by NIAD artist Xiomara Rosales, a drum workshop by famed percussionist Peta Robles Izquierdo, and “Luz y Luxe,” a shop full of affordable contemporary art!

Join this playful, colorful, and lively event celebrating films and fashion created by the superstar artists of the wildly popular current exhibition, Into the Brightness: Artists from Creativity Explored, Creative Growth & NIAD. Films showcasing vibrant textiles and wearable art from artists featured in the exhibition kick off the afternoon. Next up will be a live exhibition of fashions modeled by more than two dozen artists from these studios in an informal, salon-style presentation with music and fun!
