Each year the Holiday Arts Festival offers over 1,000 visitors a chance to buy unique gifts from local arts and crafts vendors, enjoy food and beverages, and participate in art-making activities for the whole family. The Festival’s gift sale runs from 10am to 5pm at Richmond Art Center, 2540 Barrett Avenue, Richmond.

Join the NIAD community to celebrate the exhibition “NIAD Ink: 35 Year of Prints,” an ambitious survey of print-based work by NIAD artists compiled by Andres Cisneros-Galindo, an artist, educator, activist, and facilitator who has worked with NIAD artists for almost 40 years. In NIAD Art Center’s galleries and studios, we’ll have an exhibition reception, cheerful winter food + drinks, an album release and music performance by NIAD artist Xiomara Rosales, a drum workshop by famed percussionist Peta Robles Izquierdo, and “Luz y Luxe,” a shop full of affordable contemporary art!

Join us for a reception on January 14 celebrating "Memorias Grabadas - Imprinted Memories" along with "NIAD Ink: 35 Years of Prints", an exhibition in NIAD's Main Gallery organized by Cisneros-Galindo. NIAD Art Center is pleased to present a solo exhibition of prints by one of NIAD's founding facilitators Andrés Cisneros-Galindo. Cisneros-Galindo has worked as a printmaker for several decades and created a body of work that narrates his experiences having lived in both Mexico and California.
