Join us in NIAD’s galleries for a lively discussion with artists and curators in the galleries, and light refreshments and art for sale in the studio. Come browse the current shows and check out NIAD’s art-filled workspaces.
The exhibitions Now Presenting and care + respite (curated by Simon Tran and Kari Simonsen) are on view through Friday July 19.

About Now Presenting
In the 42 years that the NIAD Studio has been in operation, generations of artists have passed through our doors to commence lifelong careers as visual artists.
This collection features work by artists who are newer on the NIAD roster. Despite their short time in the studio, it is clear they have begun to establish themselves in the community and develop their voice as artists. Studio practice at NIAD happens one day at a time, there is a real excitement to a blank canvas or fresh mound of clay to mold that is palpable in the works presented here.

NIAD Event Accessibility
There are no stairs to enter the NIAD building. The building is one level and does not have automatic doors. The sidewalk has curb cut-outs and is wide enough for a wheelchair. Our restrooms are accessible to people using mobility devices. We have a gender neutral restroom and an adult changing station. Mask-wearing is strongly encouraged.
