The letters are a mixture of upper and lower case, sans-serif and serif fonts, and use a variety of sizes and thicknesses. There are two 5-pointed stars included among the words.

a colorful linocut print on white paper. In a red ink square, 4 flowers stretch upward to bloom. Each flower has blue and red petals, a thick green stalk, and 2 pointed leaves. Evidence of the carving process is preserved in the final image via vertical yellow lines subtly patterning the entire red background.

A large oval-shaped ceramic platter. In the center of the platter the artist has traced the shape of the African continent and painted it bright yellow. The rest of the platter is glazed a warm bronze color.

a monotype print made with green ink on a tall rectangular piece of white paper. A web-like pattern of intersecting vines covers the surface of the paper. The space between the vines is the white of the paper. If you interpret the green vines as a background color instead, then the image looks like many oblong, white cobblestones on a green field. The artist has signed and dated the work in pencil on the bottom edge.

A glazed ceramic sculpture cut from a flat slab of clay. The shape represents a tree with branches and roots. The surface has been coated with brown glaze and speckled all over with spots of melted glass. The glass bits melted to form green and white splotches that look like lichen or moss.
