A glazed ceramic sculpture representing a 2-tiered cake. The artist has etched and painted a stained glass pattern on all sides of the cake, colored green, yellow, orange, and red. In the center of the lower tier is a sculpted face. The face is painted brown with black hair and eyelashes and an orange tinted mouth.

A framed work on white paper. In the center there is a linocut print in bright blue ink, detailing the head and shoulders of a figure wearing a cap, sweatshirt, and chain necklace. The portrait represents the musician Tupac. Text from a poem by Tupac is handwritten around and across the portrait, filling the white surface of the paper. The poem reads, in part: "the power of anger can rage inside until it tears u apart but the power of a smile especially yours can heal a frozen heart."

The same sculpture photographed from above. Here, the portrait head is more in focus. The bowl form, which is painted black to match the base of the platter, seems to form the exaggerated singing mouth of the central portrait head.

A tall ceramic vase featuring a sculpted portrait and handwritten text etched into the surface. The portrait is a smiling face painted brown with long curled eyelashes and loops of braided black hair. The portrait represents Patti Labelle. The artist has etched a long quote from the musician onto the side of the vase. Except for the head and the space around the quote, the entire vase is painted in a metallic black glaze.
