One of our favorite parts of NIAD's Artful fundraiser is the VIP Cocktail Hour, where Casemore Gallery will host an intimate preview of the benefit exhibition INDEX with remarks from the curator and NIAD artists.

Curated by NIAD’s Lucy Zimmerman, INDEX convenes NIAD artists such as Marlon Mullen, and contemporaries like Ruby Neri, Chris Johanson and Corita Kent, all of whom share an aptitude for skewing and collapsing perspective, and willfully defying the boundary between abstraction and figuration.

With an aesthetic that is often funky and chunky, INDEX is the perfect companion exhibition for an event like Artful.
