Radical Resilience: Holding the Line

Disabled Artists creating in a time of crisis

Curated by M Eilo

Welcome to the fourth annual exhibition hosted by Ruth’s Table that centers artists living with disabilities, both visible and invisible. This year, our gallery represents a village built from resistance, care, and creative survival. Here, artists dig in their heels, hold the line, and boldly persist.

Through ceramics, puppetry, protest signs, animation, tactile installations, and more, disabled artists and collectives invite you into a space where interdependence is strength and visibility is power.

These works are whimsical, defiant, sensory, and bold—shaped by hands that refuse to be dismissed. This village is a place where disabled artists are not just represented, but leading. Where connection is our protection, and joy is resistance.

We honor the artists gathered here—those who signed through the storm, locked wheels in solidarity, felt their way forward, and made something beautiful together. You’re part of this village now. Thank you for showing up.

About the Curator

M Eilo is a San Francisco artist and creative technologist. Their work explores disability and neurodivergence through AI prosthetics and touchable sculpture, blending code, collage, and care to imagine futures rooted in access.
