Join artist and Professor Emerita at UC Berkeley Katherine Sherwood and Lucy I. Zimmerman, Art Marketing & Partnerships Director at NIAD and Curator of INDEX, for a conversation about disability and art at Casemore Gallery. Sherwood and Zimmerman will discuss the cultural impact of progressive studios for artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities like NIAD Art Center and delve into conceptual framing, art historical significance, and connections between the practices of disabled and non-disabled artists featured in INDEX.
