Due to popular demand, OMCA is expanding their Gallery Activation Hour!

During this Special Edition Gallery Activation Hour, NIAD artists featured in Into the Brightness: Artists from Creativity Explored, Creative Growth & NIAD will be in the gallery discussing their art and process.

NIAD artists Carlota Rodriguez, Esmeralda Silva and Mireya Betances will be participating.

About Gallery Activation Hour

Enjoy talking about Museum exhibition themes and exploring how they relate to your life? Join us for Gallery Activation Hour, an informal drop-in experience, every Saturday from 1 to 2pm in OMCA’s Great Hall.

In addition to weekly Saturday Gallery Activation Hour and during the run of Into the Brightness: Artists from Creativity Explored, Creative Growth & NIAD, artists from the show will host a Special Edition Gallery Activation Hour, 12 pm- 1 pm every first Wednesday and as part of select Friday Nights at OMCA from 6 to 8 pm.

Gallery Activation Hour and the Special Edition Gallery Activation Hour allow visitors to spend time with our enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteer Gallery Activation facilitators and Into the Brightness artists who will generate conversations and engagement throughout the hour, reimagining how we activate our galleries.

Reservations are not required, but non-members will need to purchase a special exhibition ticket to see the exhibit.
