5:30pm VIP Cocktail Hour + Gallery Preview
7:00pm Main Event: Dinner + Keynote by Ann Temkin, Live Auction
NIAD is a vibrant community of 80 artists, many of whom have practiced in the studio for decades. The roster is diverse, yet united by a shared commitment to creativity, connection, and discovery. Thanks to the support of all of you, we are able to foster an environment where artists thrive, stories are celebrated, and a more inclusive art world is on the horizon.
You truly make art and access possible - we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
What's in store:
✨Keynote Speaker Ann Temkin, Marie-Josée and Henry Kravis Chief Curator of Painting and Sculpture at the New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), will share insights into curating groundbreaking exhibitions and championing accessibility in the arts.
✨Celebration of Marlon Mullen, a NIAD artist whose historic solo exhibition at MoMA makes him the first artist with known developmental disabilities to receive this honor. His work “opens up new compositional spaces and ways of looking,”—at paintings, and at artmaking.
✨ Delightful Dinner and Live Auction: Share a meal with NIAD artists, staff, and other friends, and bid on exceptional contemporary artworks from the comfort of your chair! All in the celebratory atmosphere of Minnesota Street Project, one of San Francisco’s most beloved arts venues.
✨ Exclusive VIP Cocktail Hour: A separate VIP ticket gets you access to this intimate 5:30-7:00pm gathering with Ann Temkin. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and cozy art talks inside a group exhibition at Casemore Gallery featuring Marlon Mullen's work alongside fellow NIAD studio artists and esteemed artists from coast to coast. Don't miss this special opportunity!

Every facet of Artful helps us raise crucial funds that directly support NIAD’s artists and mission.
