James Heartsill (b. 1952)

James Heartsill has two very distinct bodies of work —  organizing and creating a vast army of superheroes (think Henry Darger’s Vivian Girls meet The Hall Of Justice) or obsessively drawing or building his version of home on paper or canvas or with found wood.
