NIAD’s Thirsty Thursday takes place on September 26 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at NIAD Art Center 551 23rd Street in Richmond.
Hey, you. Yeah, you! Join us for an informed happy hour.
You’re probably asking: what does that mean, exactly? It means that we’re offering you one last chance to see, learn about and celebrate our current exhibitions.
For this Thirsty Thursday, we’ll be hosting an open-bar (bourbon, craft beer and some pretty good wine) with some snack sides. On hand will be curator Margaret Tedesco as well as some of our artists. And we’ll have a DJ spinning some laid-back vinyl.
At 6:00 pm, Margaret, who organized a previous (and equally outstanding show) at NIAD, will give a walk through of the amazing exhibition (One Of These Things Twice) she’s organized in our Main Gallery. She will share the ins and outs of the show as well as the idea(s) behind it, and you’ll learn a lot!
The artworld is an amazing place. And you’re a part of it. So, come on over… kick back from the daily grind and maybe learn something new. Admission is free. All are welcome.
