NIAD Artists Shine in the Milky Way Railroad

Across the ages artists have played a role in theatre, dance and other types of creative performance. Earlier this year NIAD artists and studio staff carried on this tradition by spending countless hours in the studio working on a creative adaptation of the Milky Way Railroad, a Japanese story by Kenji Miyazawa. Costumes were created, roles were rehearsed and weekly practice sessions culminated in a small performance on August 28.
