Adonia Douglas (b. 1989)

The paintings of Adonia Douglas follow in the footsteps of second generation Bay Area figurative painter Joan Brown. Mixing personal icons with decorative elements — for example, dogs and flowers — Adonia creates work that tells delightful and sometimes hard to interpret stories.
