551 23rd Street in Richmond, CA 94804. This Google Map will show you exactly. Our galleries are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 – 4:00 pm.

Using mass transit? 

Take the Richmond BART line to Richmond station. Go downstairs and exit the station to the left, following signs for Nevin Avenue. Follow the path to the end and continue straight on Nevin Avenue for 4 blocks (towards the Richmond Library/Civic Center). Turn left onto 23rd Street. NIAD is 1.5 blocks down 23rd Street on the left hand side.

We want you to visit the gallery at your convenience, but if you wanna see the studio at work…

Please remember that NIAD is a working art studio.  Groups are very welcome to the tour the studios, but by appointment only. Brayers (printmaking rollers)

High quality fabrics, yarns and threads
Pre-stretched canvases

Here’s what we no longer need:

Old wrapping paper or greeting cards
National Geographic magazines
Styrofoam anything
House paint, interior or exterior
