For Harry Ingram the movement of his arms and hands were captured in his paintings. Most of his work was defined by a bold and explosive use of color and looping brushstrokes that formed a consistent pattern over the entire work. Sometimes Ingram integrated free-flowing letters or embedded his autograph into the composition.

Ingram was born on April 13, 1945, and is the second of five siblings. He attended NIAD since 1984 and now lives with his brother near Clear Lake, CA.
