An exceptional sense of design and color are signature elements of Gail Mohr's
carefully crafted art pieces. Specializing on small ceramics, Mohr's work on
the wheel is precise and uniform. Her bowls are perfection and mirror those
being sold in many retail stores.
Her carved ceramics are even more amazing. One tall vase shows a two-sided relief
of scenes from Africa, while another ceramic of a cat morphed with a fish entitled
"Cat-Fish" depicts precise imagery and Mohr's sense of humor.
Mohr was born in May 1959. She came to NIAD in 2003 after attending Diablo
Valley College and now resides in her own home located in Martinez, CA.
